Anjan Sundaram is a journalist, academic and author of three memoirs, Stringer, Bad News and Breakup. His books have been featured by Christiane Amanpour and Fareed Zakaria on CNN, Jon Stewart on The Daily Show and MSNBC’s Morning Joe. His war correspondence won a Frontline Club Award in 2015 and a Reuters prize in 2006, and was short-listed for the Prix Bayeux in 2015. Stringer was a Royal African Society Book of the Year in 2014, and Bad News was an Amazon Book of the Year in 2016. Sundaram graduated from Yale University, where he studied mathematics, and holds a PhD in journalism and literature from the University of East Anglia.
