Max Frsichknecht
Researcher
Max is a designer and researcher working in the fields of digital humanities, critical data studies, knowledge design and generative media. He is interested in how data and algorithms influence human interpretation and shape societal, cultural and political discourse. He coordinates the research field Critical Knowledge Design at the Institute of Design Research at the Bern Academy of the Arts and is a lecturer at Data Design + Art, HSLU Lucerne. Max holds a Ph.D. in digital humanities from the University of Bern and was a researcher at MIT as part of the Active Archives Initiative.
