Ivo Schüssler

Ivo Schüssler is a creative technologist and software engineer researching how immersive media shape perception and experience in space. As Lead Creative Coding at iart AG in Basel, he architects mixed-reality frameworks, including multiplayer VR & AR platforms and responsive media environments, used in museums and large-scale public installations and tool chains. Trained in both Fine Arts as well as Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media, he treats technology as a design material, moving fluidly between concept, user experience, and implementation. He is also engaged in teaching at Swiss universities, and pursues independent artistic research alongside his professional practice. At metaLAB Basel, he is involved in the “Spatial Affairs” project and contributes to “Care Matters in Human-Ecological Infrastructures”.
